When you use Ehjops Journal, we may collect the following information:

First and last name

A one-way hash of your password. We never store your password itself and cannot recover or read it.

Trading Journal Data

Trade screenshots
Personal notes

This information belongs to you.

Technical Information

For security and maintenance purposes we automatically record the following when you sign in or perform sensitive actions:

3. Signing In With Google or GitHub

You may choose to create an account or sign in using Google or GitHub instead of a password. If you do, we receive only the following from that provider:

Your name
Your email address
A stable identifier that tells us it is the same account signing in next time

We use this solely to create and authenticate your Ehjops Journal account. We request no other permissions, and we do not read, access, or store your email messages, files, contacts, calendar, repositories, or any other data held by those providers. Revoking access from your Google or GitHub account settings prevents future sign-ins using that provider.

4. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

Provide access to your account
Save your trading journal
Display analytics
Send account emails such as verification and password reset
Improve application performance
Protect user accounts
Diagnose technical issues
Improve future features

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your trading data for advertising or share it with advertisers.

You retain ownership of all trading information you upload to Ehjops Journal. Your journal entries, screenshots, notes, and analytics remain your property.

Application data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database hosted in the European Union. Uploaded images are stored with a third-party media provider. If you access the platform from outside these regions, your information will be transferred to and processed in them.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including:

One-way password hashing
Encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your browser and our servers
Short-lived session tokens that expire automatically
The ability to revoke active sessions from your account settings
Role-based access controls

While we strive to protect your data, no online system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Sharing

Ehjops Journal does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only disclose information when required by law, necessary to protect the security of the platform, or required to investigate abuse or illegal activity.
